Sunday School

All children are welcome to learn more about God's word and have fun while doing it at St. John!

Sunday School is held for those 3 years of age, up to 6th grade. Classes are on Sundays following worship service at approximately 10:30 a.m. (students are free to come to their classroom during the last hymn) until 11:30 am.

Rally Sunday is held in September but children are encouraged to join any time. The year finishes up in May with a carnival that includes a variety of fun games, prizes, and treats.

A typical class includes a bible lesson, craft, and music.  Songs of praise and thanksgiving are taught and about once a month these songs are shared with our church family during worship service. One highlight of the church year is the Sunday School Christmas program. This is a very special gift that children can give to their loved ones.
